For large-scale asset disposition projects, our team of IT asset retirement professionals can travel to your corporate locations and perform on-site data erasure or physically destroy hard drives from retired IT assets.
If secure on site drive destruction is required, Keystone can provide this service at your location safely and securely. Keystone uses a specially designed, portable hard disk drive crushing unit capable of destroying two hundred hard drives per hour. Keystone can deploy and operate the machine at your site, allowing maximum security, client visibility, and control over your sensitive data.
The Hard Disk Destroyer permanently destroys all data on the hard disk by applying 20,000lbs of conical force onto the platter and circuit board of the drive. This massive force punches a hole directly through the drive splintering the circuit board and the platter rendering all data irrecoverable. This process ensures that no drive will leave the clients facility in working condition.
We then will transport the crushed drives in our secure, private truck to our 24 hour video monitored facility, where we will finish to job by shredding the drives. What remains are shards of metal, which are then sent for metal recovery at a partner facility.
